The unit works great, have numerous Battery Tenders by Deltran and they have all worked as advertised, this one is no exception. Bought dual unit to cut down on clutter and numer of electrical plugs because I was moving a couple of vehicles to a shared storage location and building did not allow power strips. Had to buy extension cables for the battery leads 12.5 or 25 ft deltran as leads are designed more for work bench use. The unit costs more than 2 stand alone tenders, throw in the leads and you could almost buy 3 regular units. This unit appears to be larger than 2 regular units combined. This unit does not indicate if it is compatible with BMW gel batteries. In the standard unit you have to buy a differeny model for the gel batteries.
