Well ordered 2 pairs. One dark and one light. Fit is good, material seems to be sturdy. I have ridden to work a half dozen time in the last 2 weeks and then work well. Hopefully do not need to test the Kevlar. I have 2 size 36-32 and the waist is about 37.5-38 inches. So I would suggest measuring the waist on a pair of pants you own to be sure. That is what comp suggested to me. I will be buying more..

A good and mostly comfortable pant. Handy for us 'business casual' guys who ride to the office. The cargo pockets are handy and keep my stuff secure even with the flaps open. Be warned fellas, these things are 'crotch huggers' until they've been broken in.

Pros:Excellent quality, fit, and comfort as with the Kevlar Khakis. Good value at regular price, great value when discounted.

Cons: Dorky and huge Sliders name and slogan embroidered on each cargo pocket flap.

I ordered a tall size. Sliders is one of the few brands that is available in tall sizes. I generally like these pants, and expect to be wearing them often. These are pants that look good enough to wear on the bike, and then wear in the office the rest of the day.

Pro:
- Pants look really good, and would fool most non-riders.
- good coverage of the kevlar on butt and legs
- feel very comfortable, I could wear these all day, unlike some of the other riding jeans out there

Cons:
- Issues with the cut. The front of the jeans between the pockets balloons don't know how else to describe it as if to accomodate a slightly lowered beerbelly. It's almost like it's sized for pregnant women...
- I ordered a tall size. The sizing is OK, but they used a zipper from a shorter size, which means it stops half an inch short of the belt in my pair...
- No armor option, no pockets provided for armor.

I would definitely recommend these pants to anyone in regular sizes. For tall sizes, I think the cut needs to be reconsidered, and a longer zipper would be nice as well. Also, pockets for optional knee armor would be very welcome.
