Bought these when I decided that a standard tank protector wasn't enough for me.
The pic is deceiving here...the 2 pieces there in the middle are about the size of a normal tank protector. The 2 additional pieces are about enough to cover the back 1/4 of my tank.
Can't see it unless you really look once its mounted.
If you have a smaller tank, it would likely be more than adequate. Since my bike Bandit 1200 has a fairly sizeable tank it leaves a bit to be desired. But for the price the protection offered can't be beat.
