I purchased my Sliders in 2008 and wear on every ride along with my Harley leather jacket. Two weeks ago, October 13, I was involved in a low speed slide on blacktop making a corner. I slid approximately 20 feet with my HDXL on top of me. I was bruised from the impact on the pavement however I did not receive a scratch nor did the Sliders even tear. I recommend anyone who rides should wear. I want to purchase a pair for my wife who often accompanies me...

I know first hand these jeans offer very good protection at a low speed crash. I was riding on a freshly paved narrow road that had loose gravel along the edges. It was a curvy county road. I was being cautious because of the loose gravel when I went around a blind curve to find a semi driving left of center to negotiate the curve, coming right at me. I had to take evasive action to the right into the loose gravel and lost control when getting back on the pavement. I was travel 30 to 40 mph. The Sliders did a great job and didn't even rip through the denim while I was sliding on the pavement and gravel. I would recommend them to anyone wanting protection in a jean riding pant. My bike was totaled.

Recieved the black pair of slider's on friday oct 9th 2009 fast shipping. I went on my weekly night ride on every sunday night with anywhere from 10-30 riders in the group at a time. Usually taking routes we've all been around and know the area. That weekend on sunday oct 11th 2009, hit a patch of sand/oil in the middle of my turn late that night. My 2005 R6 fishtailed big time and tried to bail but next thing i remember was blacked out. When police came they found my body between two light poles and bike approx. 20 feet away. I wake up in hospital with a fractured femur and brain hemorrhage. My Arai helmet saved me from serious head injuries the head injury healed in 2 days. My Vanson armored jacket saved my whole upper body. The SLIDERS KEVLAR JEANS saved my legs from any road rash, burns, gravel embedded into skin, cuts, or anything. And oh yea, there was alot of gravel and such around the area i landed. The femur fracture hurt enough, i didn't need any burns along with it. All in all, a purchase well worth every penny!!! 80 for the jeans Damage to Legs If you ride...please get them!!!

I ordered the Sliders Riding jeans and the Bohn fully armored pants. Fast shipping, great fit, comfortable, durable, and functional! Unfortunately for me, I did the "crash test dummy" thing and put them to the true test. Had some bruises from impact, but otherwise NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH! The jeans and under armor pants held up exceptionally well and literally SAVED my hide. I wish I could say the same for my motorcycle. Money well spent and I wouldn't think twice about buying this combination again.

Well I have always just worn normal jeans and that seems a bit silly now. These are very comfortable and the kevlar coverage is everywhere. Much better than the jeans my buddy's have. Overall, very comfortable and the fit was dead on. I just ordered the cargo pants and I hope they are just as good. I highly recommend these...

I found these to run a little large.I normally wear 40x32. But, 38x32 worked out best. I had to pay the freight to return them for exchange. Also the button is kinda hard to put into its hole. They are slightly hot in the summer time but not to bad really. I will purchase more since they offer comfort, added protection at a very reasonable cost

Ok, so i have the Cargo Pants but i wanted to let yall know that i recently wrecked my DRZ going around a corner and slid about 30 ft on pavement. I had my Slider Cargo pants on and when i got up i still had all my skin. Upon closer inspection when i got home, i noticed that the pants don't even have any rips in them. A few scuffs but they still look great. One complaint: Button fell off the cargo pocket when trying to get my cell phone out. Buttons need more thread on them or better seamstresses working in the Sliders sweatshops.

These jeans are pretty good. The cut is relatively modern thought not quite the style I usually wear they're still presentable to wear on a casual basis. The rise is a little on the low side, which is fine by me, but if you usually do not wear low rise, be warned. The rest of the leg is cut similar to my Levi's Straight leg jeans. The wash is uniformI have the dark blue not super modern in that department but good enough. The protective kevlar lining is much more than that of any other jean except for the Hood jeans from the UK that have it from waistband to below the knee. The kevlar is a bit warmer than straight up jean, but not bad at all. Fit run slightly large, maybe 1 inch in size at the waist. I wear Levi's 43" waist and the 43 is perfect in this product. I have a short inseam 28" and the regular length is fine taking in account wearing armor underneath and still cover the ankle area in the riding position though I always wear riding boots. Overall these are great jeans, especially for the money. Perfection would be a slightly more modern wash, options for knee armor, and maybe a bit more kevlar coverage in the hip area by the pocket.

Just received my new Sliders® 2009 Kevlar Motorcycle Riding Jeans. The waist was a little large which is fine for riding but the length was 1 1/2 inches shorter than what was on the label. I ordered a 32” length, labeled 32 but it measured 30 ½”. The difference is length is very visible when comparing to my other 32” length jeans. They are very comfortable. Looks like they are mislabeled. So, I contacted the Company and they are sending a prepaid label and exchanging the mislabeled pair for a correctly labeled pair at no charge.
