Buy EBC Brakes and Rotors at the Compacc EBC Store

EBC Brakes has made a superior showing in the world market for over 30 years, with their quality-made brakes and brake products. EBC has a large product range including: Kevlar organic brake pads, sintered brakes for motorcycles, carbon graphite brake pads for motocross, enduro use and sintered brakes for ATV and motocross bikes.

EBC Motorcycle Brakes and racing brakes as a whole is a complicated thing, and it takes an art for understanding the intricacies. Motorcycles are a passion that EBC Brakes gets excited about, and giving motorcycle riders products they can count on is just a necessary part of that passion.

Since 1984, EBC Brakes has been producing motorcycle brake shoes, including water-grooved brake shoes and clutches for motorcycles. Around 1995, EBC Brakes began designing brake rotors. They now have a whole line of rotors for sport bikes and ATVs as well as a racing line. The newest item from EBC Brake is the patented SD system which eliminates brake vibration and distortion of the brake rotor.

EBC Rotors are made in the UK, from German milled steel, to an exact EBC specification. Because of the specially milling process, this steel allows for an exceptional heat treatment and tempering process that produces a impeccable rotor. EBC Motorcycle Rotors have a patented system that assures they remain true during use, and remove the chance of warping.

EBC Rotor is the lightest rotor on the market, and they reduce overall weight and thus enhance the way the bike handles. EBC Rotor Hubs are precision machined to within less than one thousandth of an inch. Each EBC Rotor is built by hand, and inspected for run out and parallel, to ensure each one is guaranteed before leaving our grounds.

The drive buttons between the hub and rotor blade are made of stainless steel and use EBC pressure washers and rivets to avoid any loose buttons. EBC Solid Rotors are milled to precise specs and hand measured by quality inspectors.

Video Reviews
Hey guys this is Reuben with Competition Accessories welcome to our overview of EBC brake pads. In this video were going to talk about the different EBC pads available we sell a ton of them here at Competition Accessories they make several different compounds that you may or may not be aware of well talk about the different options you have when your shopping for your next set of replacement brake pads . The first one i want to talk about is the EBC double H or HH brake pad and this is by far their most popular choice of brake pad for most street bikes , its what Ive run on my street bike for years its a fully sintered brake pad copper material its going to be the most aggressive and grippy brake pad highest friction brake pad that they sell so in most applications it does provide with a superior brake performance over what came on your motorcycle stock for most bikes . A couple things to note about a fully sintered pad these are a little bit more high friction its a little bit more abrasive on the rotor itself it is going to wear out your rotor a little bit faster then a regular organic pad . I have close to 60,000 miles on my bike now and like i said ive been riding HH pads for the entire time Ive had the bike on my ZRX particularly and no problems there . Remember when you first put brake pads on your bike it takes a little bit of time for the pads and the rotors to kind of bend into each other to get the maximum performance from them and again the HH pad is most popular its kind of the best option really for street bikes. Now for certain bikes like older vintage bikes their not going to have HH available so the next step down will be V line or a semi sintered 30 % sintered pad 70% organic fibers that is going to be a kind of blend between organic and double H pads available , but if you want something with a little bit higher performance then a true organic pad but you don't want the aggressive nature of the HH pad or maybe the HH isn't available for your bike the V-line is a great option as well. One other note about organic vs sintered pads, Organic typically gives you a smoother feel at the lever with the least amount of noise where as a fully sintered HH pad especially with EBC it seems to be a bit more of a sandpaper feel you can actually feel the friction of the brake rotors and the pads coming together when you brake some people really like that that additional feedback you can kind of tell what kind of braking force is applied at the lever and other people don't want that keep that in mind as well. The last one would be a full organic pad prefixed with a FA in their part numbers those are 100% organic they use fibers like Aerimid and Kevlar not Asbestos of coarse so they are going to give you the smoothest feel they do typically wear out a little faster and are a little bit more weak in terms with all out braking performance . Now for street guys and high performance guys there are a few other options out there for guys that do track days , for most guys the HH pads are plenty ive had my bike out on the track plenty of times with the HH pads and ive never had an issue with fading or anything like that , for guys that are a little bit more high performance I'm definitely not an advanced level rider on the track there are additional options available like the GPFA if you have questions about those you can give us a call at Competition Accessories . So for off road use there's several different options again with EBC pads a lot of them do have cross over from the street as far as different compounds but they use slightly different terminology .The FA pads are the organic pads still for the off road segment whether your doing a duel sport or ATV its going to be best for kind of a more pleasure ride type of situation kind of casual rider thats not really pushing it hard not racing is what you'd use for organic or choose when your using organic pads . Another option for kind of slower speed riding is the Sintered R pads , that is along the lines of the HH pads but not as aggressive so again more aligned for casual slower trail riding casual riding . If your full on racing the most popular pad is the MXS pad which is very similar to the HH pad in that its a full sintered pad its going to bed in fast its going to give a very high amount of friction and give you a very good feed back feel on the bike while your racing I've run the MXs pads on my dirt bikes and they feel really great . Carbon X pads are another one of those great options for racers but they are definitely going to wear out a lot faster then some of the other sintered options . They are designed for high speed dry riding you guys out in the desert running higher speeds these are actually made with carbon graphite they are going to bite really well giving you a really good powerful stopping power but again they do wear out quite a bit faster then sintered pads and if you get them in the wet or in the mud they are going to not last long at all , they are designed definitely for more dry conditions. Dealing with some mud you can go with something like the sintered SV which is semi sintered pad for off road guys thats a good option or you can go with the sintered R or the MXS pads for off road. If you have any questions about EBC brake pads obviously there's quite a few options essentially its good better best , looking at organic its more of the base line brake pad its going to be OEM replacement brake pad for most bikes , any of the semi sintered pads are going to be a step above kind of a blend between the two, and then the fully sintered pads are the best option for you guys if your looking for a little bit of an upgrade in terms of performance . Now if you have anything like chrome brake rotors or custom brake rotors that are more sensitive typically running an organic pad is a little bit better because its not going to be as abrasive on the rotors themselves so if you have a special application like that you might want to give us a call to see what is the best application for your particular bike.
