Ducati just finished a three day test at Jerez on the new GP12. The Italian manufacturer didn’t allow any cameras on the track and they didn’t say much about how testing went. Carlos Checa, who rode the GP12 this week, was also tight lipped about the new Ducati details.

“At first glance the GP12 may appear similar to the GP11, but under the fairing there are many fundamental changes,” said team chief mechanic Cardion AB Motoracing Marco Grana.Power:

- 0 to 60 in 2.7 seconds
“I have only ridden the new bike during the November tests at Valencia. I am ready for the real test with the new bike on Jan. 31 at Sepang in Malysia. There are many things to work on in order for us to improve our times before the first race in Qutar on April 8th.”
