The recovering economy, and surging demand for cruisers, particularly Harleys is and their failure to meet demand is creating an industry for kit bikes and “custom” cruisers powered by other than Harley V-Twins.

  1. “Gas stays the same at $1.22 per gallon.” Wow! It seems gas was around $1.00 per gallon for ever. Look at it now. When George W. Bush was in office, gas hit $4.00 per gallon for about 2 weeks and the media went crazy. After that, it came back down to about $2.00 per gallon. It has now been about $4.00 per gallon for 2 MONTHS!! And the media is silent. What a difference having one of their own in the white house makes.

  2. “Candle in the Wind” was written in 1973 as a tribute to Marilyn Monroe, though Elton John did a remake in 1997 for Diana. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candle_in_the_Wind
