Nicky Hayden will be traveling to the Isle of Man this year to do a lap around the mountain course during the Arai Parade Lap. Hayden, the 2006 MotoGP World Champion, will ride alongside Ian Hutchinson and Mick Doohan.
Hayden will be riding at the Isle of Man on June 8th. Beside his parade lap, he will also be presenting the trophy for the Monster Energy Supersport Race.
“I’m really looking forward to going to the Isle of Man,” Hayden said. “I’ve been to pretty much every kind of motorcycle race you can imagine-the Daytona 200, the Jerez MotoGP, the Anaheim Supercross, the Namur World Motocross-but I’ve never been to the Isle of Man or any other real street race. The TT is just one of those events that every race fan wants to see eventually.”
Hayden’s trip to the Isle of Man will come just a few days before the MotoGP heads to Silverstone for the British round of the series on June 12th.
