Moto2 champion Toni Elias was able to claim one last pole position before the close of the 2010 Moto2 season tomorrow at Valencia. Elias beat out Stefan Bradl, Andrea Iannone, and Scott Redding to claim the final pole position of the season.
Elias took his third pole position of the season by setting a 1’36.141 time to beat out Bradl by a tenth of a second. Bradl has been strong all weekend, and will give Elias a run for his money during the final Moto2 race tomorrow.
Andrea Iannone and Scott Redding will also be on the front row of the grid tomorrow. Alex de Angelis will lead the second row, followed by Kanan Sofuoglu, Julian Simon, and Carmelo Morales.
The focus of tomorrow’s race will be on Iannone and Simon as they battle it out for second place. Simon currently leads by six points, but will start four spots back during tomorrow’s race.
