History:
Mr. Giuseppe Visenzi established GIVI 30 years ago. A talented rider, he distinguished himself in a series of motorcycle races in the sixties, winning third place in the World Championship for 350cc in 1969.

After leaving the race world, his passion for motorcycles, together with his determination led him to commit himself in the planning and realization of motorcycle accessories establishing the Company GIVI, which in a very short time has become one of the most important and competitive producers of motorcycle accessories, nationally and worldwide.

The GIVI top cases and panniers are the result of more than 20 years experience of careful attention to detail and caring for the needs of motorcyclists.

The case opening/detaching system is operated with one hand only and the MONOKEY and MONOLOCK fitting systems guarantee ease of use together with a high reliability and durability that always characterize all GIVI products.
MONOKEY and MONOLOCK cases boast a patented locking system that enables the opening/detaching of the case and its attaching/releasing from the plate with a single key.

MONOKEY: Cases have a bigger capacity than MONOLOCK cases and are for use on motorcycles. The MONOKEY patented system is a distinguishing characteristic of GIVI production. It allows you to open and detach the case from the fixing plate by means of one sole key. EASY, SOLID and SAFE, these are the main characteristics, which made this system a landmark for the motorcycle industry worldwide.

MONOLOCK: This system, formerly developed to be used on scooters and maxi-scooters, adds LIGHTNESS and COMPACTNESS to the already popular MONOKEY main characteristics, that is being easy to operate and solid.
