Hey this is Reuben with Competition Accessories here to talk to you today about Cortechs new road racing boot. These are the Latigo boots they make two versions the air and the waterproof. I have the waterproof version on now and I have been walking around in this boot for a little while now in the store and it is actually really comfortable, I normally wear a 44 or a 10 and this fits just right if it was any smaller it would be too small so it is a snug fit but I would definitely stick with my size in this boot if you are in between sizes like a 10.5 then I would definitely go up to the 45 or the 11 because the 10 is going to be a little bit to snug for you. It is definitely a nice boot, you will see that there is a molded hinged ankle support system on these boots so you can still get the flexibility and the motion that you need when you are walking or shifting your wait from side to side on the bike but it gives you some nice side to side support so if you were in an accident it is going to limit how much your ankle can actually roll. Give you a look at the opening here basically with the waterproof version you have a full length waterproof gator and that is a Hipora waterproof membrane so it is going to keep the water out. But it is going to also allow your foot to breathe. Simple Velcro upper with a zipper closure makes it really easy to get the boots on and off. There is also a stretch panel in the upper portion of this boot which gives you some extra flexibility as you walk keeps the boots nice and comfortable, talking about the inside of the air version it is essentially same version but no waterproof gator obviously, this one is going to breath a lot better and they use what they call micro tech upper which is basically a breathable insulated lining that is going to allow hot air to escape and your foot to breath. This boot is fully perforated so you are going to get plenty of ventilation through to your foot. Talk about some of the other protective features the one that really stands out is the shin plate, it is very large and you have a lot of area for protection of your leg. That's a very common area to get injured, if you crash the footpeg very often will catch you in the leg and without any protection there that can cause some severe damage to your leg. You also have a molded heel cup this is shock absorbing so that will help protect you from impact on the heel area. You have a replaceable toe slider and it is just a plastic slider but it definitely does a great job and it is in the right place. You have a molded TPU shifter pad on both the right and left boot. Some more leather stretch panels on the front and along the back of the boot to keep it again very comfortable and flexible. Now the sole of this boot is fairly flexible which makes it very comfortable for walking in but it is not as super stiff as a really high end road race boot so keep that in mind as well. But these boots are selling on our website right for right around 150 dollars the waterproof version is a little bit more than that, but for that money you are getting a lot of boot and I am really impressed with these and I might pick up a pair for myself because I really like the protective features and it is just a comfortable boot as well. For the street and occasional track days this is definitely a great choice you can check these out on our website at competitionaccessories.com also click on the link in the upper right hand corner to subscribe to our YouTube channel. Tourmaster Solution 2.0 BootsHey guys, this is Reuben with Competition Accessories. Welcome to our review of the Tourmaster Solution 2.0. Now the solution 2.0 and the original Tourmaster Solution boots have been some of the most popular waterproof boot styles that we have sold here at Competition Accessories. Now the Tourmaster Solution 2.0 has been out for a little while now and weve had a chance to really put it through its paces, try it on, see how it fits, how it feels, how long it lasts, and we have been really impressed. Weve got tons of customer reviews on our website if you want to jump on there at the end of this video and read some customer feedback on them. The best thing about them is the price. These are not going to break the bank. They retail for 119 bucks and we sell them for under 110 so you can jump on there and see what our current price is but theyre a really, really valuable boot for the money. Im definitely very impressed. The other thing thats really attractive about the Solution 2.0 is its going to work for such a huge variety of riders whether youre a commuter thats on the bike everyday, or if your planning a longer trip where you dont know what kind of weather your going to encounter the Solution 2.0 is going to work just great. Even this style of boot can work well for a sport bike guy if your not looking for the ultimate protection and not going to the track all the time the Solution 2.0 is great option for you guys in that segment also. One thing that I really like about it, obviously, is it has a built in HiPora Membrane, which is going to be waterproof, thats the key feature for it. I will open the boot up here you will see that there is a Velcro flap thats going to cover the main zipper. There is Velcro on the end of the zipper as well which helps hold the zipper pull up in place. And then you see that internal waterproof membrane this gusset underneath the zipper here extends pretty much all the way to the top of the boot. What that does for you is its going to prevent water from coming in behind the zipper here and even if you were to ride through some big puddles where water is washing up over your feet, as long as water doesnt get over the top of the boot and run down inside these are going to do a great job of keeping your feet dry. Now HiPora has some really neat properties to it. It not only keeps the water out, its also a very breathable material, so for those warmer days when your feet might be getting a little hotter, it does a fairly good job of breathing and allowing your foot to breath so its not super hot. Now I will say any waterproof boot, if its 90 degrees out and middle of summer, your feet are probably going to get a little toasty in them. But the flip side of that is if you do get caught in the rain theyre going to keep your feet nice and dry and in cold weather obviously it helps block a bit more wind and keep your feet nice and warm inside the boot. The inside is lined with a nice soft material they do have what they call their Techno GI thermoplastic heel cup and toecap. So you have a heel cup around the back here thats inside the boot for support and protection. The toe box is reinforced as well, thats going to keep it nice and comfortable when shifting but also add some protection as well if you were to go down, tumble and hit the front of your foot on something thats going to help reinforce that area and keep you comfortable. Some built in armor over the anklebone, thats there not only for impact protection but also for abrasion resistance. Obviously leather does a good job but if you were to go down, your foot is underneath your bike its going to help prevent any wear or damage to your ankle and your foot inside the boot. On the sole of the boot you have some nice tread design. I really like the sole of the solution 2s cause theyre really comfortable off the bike also, so if youre like me and ride some events whether its bike night or some kind of open house or charity fund-raiser type of event or your riding somewhere then your off the bike walking around for hours, you know the last thing you need is a really stiff uncomfortable boot thats really hurting your feet all day long. So these boots are going to give you really sure footing but they are also fairly flexible so you can walk around in comfort. The foot bed that they use inside these is orthopedic, has some arch support in it, and it also absorbs vibration so if your bike has a little bit of buzz in the foot pegs or anything these are going to help absorb that as well. If you want to look down here at my foot, I actually have one of the Solution 2s on my foot and you can see what it looks like with jeans on. Very comfortable boot, as far as sizing goes, I pretty much always wear a size 10 or a 44. No different with the Solution 2. They are just right, I would say if you are kind of in between sizes especially if you have a slightly wider foot you probably want to go up a size. But I typically take a size 10 sometimes I have to go up a size 10.5 in tennis shoes depending on the width but on these particular ones I find that I can wear the size 10 and they fit just right so very comfortable as far as flexibility goes. You can walk around as I mentioned all day long in comfort in the Solution 2.0 and again you cant beat that price for under 120 bucks youre getting a fully featured waterproof motorcycle boot. So check out these Solution 2.0s from Tourmaster on our website, at competitionaccessories.com and dont forget most of your orders here at competition accessories are going to ship for free and you can earn up to 5% comp-a-cash back to use toward future purchases. Hey whats up guys this is Reuben with Competition Accessories welcome to our review of the all new V2X riding shoe from Joe Rocket. I have been a big fan of Joe Rocket footwear line-up for years and the V2X looks to be no exception that I am going to enjoy riding in it is a short style riding shoe with protection of a race boot as far as the external features on the lower portion of the shoe. Obviously it is not a full length boot so with that it is not as hot or as heavy and it is a lot easier to walk around in. So if you are looking for a riding boot or shoe that is comfortable for commuting and things like that and its the more casual shoe for riding then this is definitely something you are going to want to take a look at and it is right in that 100-150 dollar price range, you can jump on our website to check that out. For just over 100 bucks it is definitely a fantastic value, you get a replaceable toe slider and a molded heel cup. There is a little bit of reflective material on the pull up loop on the back of the show so you can get a little bit of night visibility and you have a really nice sole on the bottom that will provide grip when your off the bike it also does not have any big lugs in the soles so it is not going to catch on anything as you move your feet around on the bike. Another thing I really love about these shoes is they have a very low profile shoes and it makes shifting just a lot easier a lot more precise and you also have some poly metric protection built in, in terms of support on these so that's important because if you riding in sneakers you don't realize there is no support in there so if you go down it is really easy for your foot to bend ways that it shouldn't bend and break all those bones in you foot and you don't want to do that and if you are wearing regular shoes I really encourage you to go ahead and pick up a pair of boots like these or something else that you like. To get these on and off is a little bit different that we have seen in this style of boot. Typically more racy even the shorter styles of boots have a buckle or some other type of closure, these however have a traditional lace up system with this leather flap that kind of covers the entire laces and what that allows you to do is get a real custom fit. There is a piece of Velcro and a buckle to hold that in place over the laces. This is really important because you do not want your laces to get snagged or caught on the brake pedal or pegs or the shifter or sucked into your chain you definitely don't want that to happen. You do have a little bit of perforation through the tongue here and a little bit of fabric on the back here, so I would imagine that breathablility is going to be fairly good on these as well. It is a genuine leather upper and definitely a well constructed boot. I actually have on a pair now I normally wear a size ten in pretty much everything and this is no exception and it fits me really well and it is very comfortable and you can see the laces are completely hidden. Dont forget to check out the rest of our videos on our YouTube channel and you can subscribe to that by clicking on the upper right hand corner, you can earn up to 5% comp a cash back to use towards future purchases with us here, and don't forget we have great free shipping deals, easy exchange program and no restocking fees.
