HJC CLX6 Off Road Helmet Review at Competition Accessories
Hey guys whats up this is Reuben with Competition Accessories and welcome to our video review for the all new HJC CLX6 off road helmet. This helmet retails for just under 150 dollars, you can jump on our website to see what our current pricing is. This is a really good option for you guys that are on a budget but want something that is really affordable and looks really good. There are different graphic styles available for this helmet along with different colors. To go over some of the features it has a polycarbonate shell with injection molded plastic which keeps the weight fairly light. It does have an advanced channeling ventilation system, so you have an intake vent at the top here. This will direct air down inside to the helmet through the air channels and draws the warm air out the back of the helmet. You do have an adjustable visor peak on this helmet. It has what they call their speed cool interior, so on the inside of this you have a moisture wicking fabric that are styled with some patterns here. It is fully removable which is a huge feature, but its a nice feature to be able to remove the interior of your off road helmets. That way you can take it out to clean the lining if need be. This speed pro lining is going to draw moisture away from your face and it helps keep you comfortable as you ride. The other thing that is really great about this helmet that you dont see a lot in for this price range is removable strap sleeves, so you can actually undo some Velcro and remove this sleeve off of the chin strap so you can wash that. There is a couple of snaps for the crown liner to come right out. You will see that there are mesh panels for the ventilation to flow throughout the helmet to keep your head cool and allow that air to reach your skin. If you look at the inside here you can actually see all those air channels we were talking about. Thats the EPS foam liner, thats actually what manages the impact in a crash. If you go down the shell is going to distribute the impact over a larger area. The foam lining is actually what absorbs the impact. This is also a multiple density foam that they use. No matter where you hit it is going to do its best at absorbing that impact progressively. You can check this helmet out on our website at competition accessories and it is available in several different graphics that look really great.
